Allison Gonzalez

Allison Gonzalez has been teaching Classical Pilates for over 20 years. As a professional ballet dancer in her first "life", Allison came to Pilates after sustaining a back injury. Allison danced for 10 more years using Pilates to cross train! She went to NYC in 1999 and apprenticed at Drago's Gym with Romana Kryzanowska, Sari Pace and with Bob Liekens at The Pilates Studio. Allison opened her first studio, Purely Pilates, in 2001. She became a teacher trainer at Power Pilates and taught for them from 2005 to 2018. Allison loves teaching teachers, athletes, dancers as well as the everyday brilliant students who love the method. The studio has been renamed Evolve Movement Collective where she also teaches Gyrotonic® Exercise and the MELT Method®. She and her husband are avid ballroom competitors.
